The year 2022 will also soon be over and somehow, I never got to reaching out to people via my blog. In fact, the feeling that I really didn’t have anything new to say held me back, but when some among you started reminding me that I haven’t written, it felt good. I feel grateful … Continue reading Forgotten Parents who Raised Bravehearts

Another year already … just another night to go before the nation wakes up to #KargilVijayDiwas2021. I again read a post by one of our war-disabled Kargil heroes Capt Naveen Nagappa SM. ‘THEY DIED YOUNG, TO THEM WE OWE’ he writes, in memory of the 17 brave soldiers of his battalion of 13 Jammu & … Continue reading HONOUR OUR HEROES & KEEP HOPE ALIVE
Seven months since writing my own blog, the Wuhan Virus that caused this unprecedented global pandemic shows no signs of letting go its grip on humankind. After exporting death and ill health via Covid 19 worldwide, instead of an apology and truth, China has added to its reputation of 'mean & untruthful big-bully' by trying … Continue reading NEITHER BE AFRAID; NOR GIVE UP
Just before India's 74th Independence Day, when Chitra Subramanium, famous for her investigative journalism asked me to write a short post, I found myself honoured yet unsure of what to write. With her suggestions, I put pen to paper and wrote from my heart. The link to the published post is: https://therearehumansintheroom.csdconsulting.net/i-am-a-patriot-i-refuse-to-be-labeled-grouped-or-cornered-and-i-keep-the-faith With permission, my … Continue reading A PATRIOT KEEPS THE FAITH
When I started writing this post last evening, a nation was united in collective hopes and prayers for #JusticetoNirbhaya. Despite shifting of the death penalty date 4 times by delay tactics of their lawyer, today’s dawn is bright with prayers answered and faith restored. All 4 convicts have been hanged by order of the Court, … Continue reading FINDING NEW MEANING: PILGRIMAGE LIKE NEVER BEFORE
So much has happened since I last reached out to you all. Most important is the full integration of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh so all citizens of India have the same rights and responsibilities. As normalcy slowly returns after decades of conflict in the Kashmir valley, we are together as a nation, united in fighting … Continue reading SEARCHING… FINDING… SERVING… BEING INSPIRED
A million thoughts are muddled in my head as so much has already happened in 2019. It is over six months since I wrote my blog and over two years and six months since Akshay. We have lost many more of our brave soldiers, not only in terror attacks but also in air accidents whilst … Continue reading UNENDING: THE PRICE PAID FOR OUR FREEDOM
